Head Coach Camille Zhu Nominated for IWUF 2024 Outstanding Coach Award

Coach Zhu Wenjun, recommended by the New Zealand Kung Fu Wushu Federation (NZKWF), will be New Zealand's sole representative in the competition for the International Wushu Federation (IWUF) 2024 Outstanding Coach Award!

As a core member of the NZKWF, Coach Camille has dedicated years to advancing New Zealand's Wushu through her exceptional teaching abilities and wealth of experience. Her teaching philosophy has always emphasized "people-oriented, balancing virtue and skills." Whether guiding her students' technical development or fostering their character and teamwork spirit, Camille has poured countless efforts into her work.

Under her mentorship, numerous students have achieved excellent results in both national and international competitions. Notably, in the 2024 World Youth Wushu Championships, She helped the New Zealand Wushu team win the country's first-ever world-class gold medal, showcasing the bright future and new prospects of New Zealand Wushu on the global stage.

Camille’s nomination marks another significant milestone for New Zealand martial arts. Regardless of whether she wins the 2024 Outstanding Coach Award, this nomination by the NZKWF reflects the high level of recognition she has earned from the association. With the 2025 season approaching, Camille will continue to contribute her expertise to the development of wushu in NZ, nurturing more talented martial artists.
